Savannah School of Arboriculture sets its curriculum in accordance to the needs of the future. As the world gets to be a smaller place and nature is packed into tighter spaces, urban forestry is a highly prized skill.
We also tackle the big picture; climate change, deforestation, loss of habitat and specie extinction.
Savannah School of Arboriculture has recently been founded as a way to communicate the importance of trees to the general public. This is a service project started by its founder, Chris Gerards.
Chris Gerards is a Board Certified Master Arborist with 45 years of experience in the tree care industry.
Chris just finished a 5 year travelogue, inspecting the state of nature, and its trees, across the globe.
